Hey Cayn
I hear you did a storming set at Wigan recently...and to think it was only a couple of months ago Moxy & I had to talk you out of chucking it all in.

Cayn, I know star quality when I see it -- shine on Mr Magnificent! May 2008 be an utterly brilliant year for you and may all your sets be stonking ones.

I got into performnce poetry and got my creative writing degree this year so a good year indeed. :)
Next year I want to graduate from my PGDE and find some more time to spend writing. :)
Also, this year was the year I met you lovely lot- best year ever for that reason! :)

I too feel 2007 has been a good year for me, when I found the Howcroft and connected with this amazing fellowship that is WriteOutLoud.

Getting the Arts Council to cough up (half of) the dosh after almost two years; coming joint first at the slam at The International Women's Festival (honest!); my grandson being born; my granddaughter learning to say 'grandpa' - that's real poetry; the film of my script being a finalist at Moondance film fest and being screened at Paramount Studios. BUT, mostly, seeing all this new talent turning up month after month at our own and others' open mic nights and experiencing the sheer joy of the written word spoke out loud, and the continuing interest in our humble website.
