Thank you, Pete. I am actually a fully qualified hypnotherapist (among other somewhat random things) which might explain the trance-like effect. I think the audience were very scared by the time I'd finished performing -- quite a few told me I'd frightened them, which surprised me. The other poets on the recording are fab, aren't they? We all had a terrific time on the course and we learned some really invaluable techniques. I still have no idea what I'm doing or why, mind. No idea whatsoever. But I don't think I ever will.

Blush blush blush -- huge thanks, Malcom. But more of my linguistic machinations in audio! Whatever next? I've done a course on podcasting but have never really thought of buttering my site with moxy-vocals. It might just scare the Horses of Invention from their Stables of Audacity.
