Drug Crazed?

A poem I scribbled down ages ago, before I started developing my poems- thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

I would reach for it to stay alive
If I had a day without it then I wouldn’t survive
I felt my life going down the drain
As the acidic goodness attacked my brain
It took me over; I soon became its slave
It soon became the only thing I would crave
I would often be left in a sea of plastic containers,
Struggling to survive with no bank balance
I tried to get help but no one would listen
A man with my problem was more than common
I eventually helped myself using the little will power I had left
And managed to avoid the endless years of theft
And now I’m glad to say that I’m no longer coke-crazed
For I’ve discovered that Pepsi has a much better taste.

Good thing you are safe up there in Yorkshire - I might be tempted to find myself a giant cotton bud and use it as a pugle stick to beat you to death with!

Think I'm gonna change my tag name - help Gordon I've become a sweetie rapper.
