Latitude Festival
Hi Sophie
Read my review of last years Latitude Festival, or at least the parts I managed to see on my blog. It's a great event with four days of non-stop poetry. That's a lie they close down from about 1.00 am, til 11.00am. Won't be there this year, highly recommended, have a great time.

Hi Sophie
Congrats on your slam win!
You'll have a ball at Latitude, a great poetry festival within a great event.
Having now performed at 4 or 5 of the festivals on the summer circuit, Latitude remains the one, so far, where the poets are treated the best - in the newspaper ads, in the programme, on the t-shirts even, programmed so as not to clash with the big bands, good crowds, a bit of hospitality etc.
Me and Mr Morgan went in 06 and were lucky enough to see Patti Smith, Saul Williams, JCC and all the new young turks. Stunning stuff.
Pics in galleries if you scroll down.
Have a great time.
Tony
