I apologise for another weird one, an April night in May and at a random time too but please be assured that this is the last odd one for some time to come!

We ended up with a select group of 9 and had a really positive and friendly read-around, each performing three poems.

'Des Lexic' really stole the show with his Noel Coward routine and when rapping with his side-kick 'Alvin Sawdust' (even though they are too old to do so- their words not mine)!

Feedback received on the night:

Positive: Great night, great quality from few, managed to get here, variety, good group of people, simply fab, Des and Alvin.

Areas For Improvement: Shame about the numbers hopefully next month will be better with the regular time slot, probably people are away because of the holiday, can't think of any today, must bring more chums next time, could have done with more people.

I will hopefully see you on 22nd at the usual time, (8-10pm) with guest poet Julia McClay and comedy double act compères, Des Lexic and Alvin Sawdust.
