'bunt'

Steven, some of your 'shoulds' should have apostrophes, surely? And the common comma should certainly show something of itself, should it not?
Would adding a little hesitation to each 'should' help to apportion blame?

Well, in these here parts... one ought to, had better, have a duty to, be duty-bound to, must, have to, shall be obliged, obligated, compelled, required, coerced, AND forced to do things that they may have otherwise been told they should : )
