Pete Crompton

Bloody brilliant.

'bottles will pile and break, bottles will pile and break'

this song is awesome, reminds me of Marillions misplaced childhood and in particular the poetic and lyrical style of the lead singer ' fish ' (check out 'blind curve' and the whole of 'bitter suite' from the MISPLACED CHILDHOOD album)

I would say that 'Pink Elephants on parade' and in particular John's delivery makes it a worthy companion in my collection of this genre of music and poetry (Godspeed, Silver Mt Zion, Early Marillion)

I am un aware of your other stuff John but the crawling and unfolding and the riff on PEOP is addictive.

I can only say well done.

Thanks for your comments Pete. I'll check out those artists you mentioned, although I am a fan of Godspeed already.

In the meantime, here's a 9 minute excerpt from a 24 minute piece called Orchestration of Waves: http://www.reverbnation.com/johntogher

Aye, a version of that piece is on my profile page.
Thanks for listening Sophie, glad you enjoyed it.

Now for a plug!
I'll be performing the whole piece of Orchestration of Waves at Embryo on Friday 7th December with my buddy Mr Bibby.
