Thank you to all the WOL poets that came along to support this event.
Paul ,Don, Bill, Simon Ellis, Dave Makin and David Andrew rose to the occasion by sharing their poetry, style and wit with visitors to our Poetry Event. Hank surprised us by reading some remarkable poetry , with sensitivity and understanding, that he had brought and Jeff, a new poet read his own poems that were received very well. I think we will be seeing both Hank and Jeff at the Howcroft soon. Drew soon felt comfortable enough to read poems from our Poetry books whilst Martin sat in and enjoyed listening to the many different styles of poetry that made the day successful. I feel the day was low on numbers but well worth doing. It was poetry non stop and I know everyone who came along enjoyed the day, it was fun.
