Poetry Blogs and the Social Network
As a words person (that sounds too highbrow but I can't think of another name) I'm continually intrigued by the content and nature of the comments expressed in the blog section of WOL.
After a couple of like it/don't like it style comments about the poem itself, the commentary often then spirals off into banter that resembles content more consistent with Social Media.
This is in no way a complaint, albeit the poetry critique can be shortchanged by the "off at a tangent" direction the comments often take.
Plainly it interests members to learn something of each other, which got me to thinking, should there be a place for such interaction separate from the blog?
