Poetry for the 21st Century not yesterdays self styled elite
Well lets hope the powers that be will allow this new discussion. Innovation in Poetry is at the heart of any language and before the explosion in popular music was the format of opinion in the culture for the all.
We are seeing a rise in a hard post punk style of music and lyrics, think Sleaford Mods and Idles. Observation commentary and Kate Tempest is in that league. So the question is around the thoughts Poetry in a golden age, yet if does aspire to that then the disruption will be blood thirsty and many an judge and so call scholar will be despatched to the scrap heap of middle class daytime tv and sad souls of bland ways and means.

Or in brief do not ask me to enter a competition with rules ….. I just think you have missed something obvious around the concept of a free society. Look out for my own competition "There are no rules" :)
