I'm new here. Loving what I'm reading so far. :)

I'm releasing my first poetry book in a few weeks and I'm so excited! Does anyone here know of any poetry blogs that accept books for review, Q&As, etc? I'm trying to get the word out.

Very few poetry outlets will promise to review a book in advance of seeing a copy, I'm afraid. But getting readers to post reviews on Amazon and other online places can certainly help. You could also post some sample poems on the Write Out Loud poetry blogs as a way of creating interest, and give details of how to get hold of your book when it is published. Good luck!

You might like to try Coreopsis, A Journal of Myth & Theatre, they accept text-only admissions (not pdf files) for peer review free of charge. Here is a link to their seasonal journal:

Some peer reviews are charged for through an agency. Having published my own anthology and written a screenplay I have wasted a lot of money signing up to these agents who simply take your money and run. Nothing it seems is guaranteed. Good luck with your first publication.

Always suggest going on Podcasts. Lots of good poetry podcasts who will have you on to talk about your book. You can easily find through a simple look on google or facebook or matchmaker.fm
