At a secret location in Wigan on 8th of this month a secret poetry (open mic) night was held.
I know it's secret because firstly no one has mentioned it here, and secondly no fliers or advertising were evident in the pub.
Several poets sneaked in via the toilet window and as usual were excellent, though Mr Crompton almost alerted outsiders by ranting loudly a lot, but was fantastic again.
Presumably similar will occur on the second Thursday of June, and we are having the toilet window widened specially.
Seriously, as I tend to live there, if posters need to be put up, please let me know and I can print them and do it.
I'll even do it on my secret printer that I keep in the attic.

Good point Baz. The problem was that we were changing over co-ordinators (John Togher has taken over the whole of Wigan WOL) at that time so the placing of posters fell between the two. Thanks for the offer of putting up posters we'll see if we can involve you.

I'm away for six weeks as of Friday Paul, but thereafter, all I need is a WOL postery letterheady thing and I can scan that as a template for posters.
Just ask and twill be done.

Posters shall be up in the Tudor on Thursday, specially designed by me.
