THE PROBLEM OR THE SOLUTION
The youth of today have never had it so good
So why are they going round spilling blood
Streets are becoming a no go zone, reclaim
Filming fights just for kick, viewed on net or phone
Violence acts that give the bully this sick buzz shown
Who needs a T.V. we can watch it for nothing
There is this poison infecting communities every pore
How many more need we bury? How many more?
Where did this problem come from? Who did the creating?
Who ever they were or what ever it was need berating
Pointing the blame is a problem in itself, pass the book
Is society itself the sole creator of this manacle, this folly?
Who benefits from this situation? Who is making the lolly?
Does it matter the who’s, the what’s, the where’s, communicate
Its it your family, the neighbours, those down your street
Just who’s family is the undertaker going to meet?
But who created this monster, put on society this hex?
Placing this maniacal around our communities necks
Is it you or is it me or those with political power
Can the problem’s solution be living behind our door?
Can I count on your vote again this year? Politics! More!
To move on it can’t be a case of them and us, raise the barrier
The solution is a two way street, teacher pupil, pupil teacher
Come share my path, talk, share, then pass it on, societies richer
