We have been in Sale for three months now and what a superb night we have had each time at this venue. This unique 'Cafe Bar' type venue is welcoming WOL regulars and new first time performers who are coming back each month. South Manchester has on open mic night to be proud of.

Our poetry nights have usually been in the bar area, but tonight we were in the Council Chambers. Talking with our friends they felt this gave another benefit. Where we entertained into the festive spirit with crackers and mince pies. We had 'cracking poetry' gromit. Once again we had variety in abundance and our numbers are growing.

WOL sent out the word of a poetry night, a place to share a kindred spirit in Sale, that call has been answered. Don't take my word for it, third Wednesday in January, be there.
