When you fall...

I wrote this when I was 15, just wondered how it stands up six years later.

You have the face of a saint
Which on though I do not know
You are like the sea
Strong and restless
Your heart is like a rose
Seemingly harmless
You are a rock
Very supporting
You are a tool
Useful for a lot of things
There is only one way things can be like this for eternity
And that's if you will marry me
The church is a symbol of heaven
The Vickers all dressed in black like a pagan
So now we are wed we go home
Now knowing full well that we have the rest of our lives together
It isn't until we get home however
That the Vickers words sink in
When he muttered them words
That was as cold as the church floor
The ones that ripped my world apart
"Death us do part"
And that's when I realise that
You do have the face of a saint
A Saint Bernard that is
And you ARE like the sea
You make me sick
And man how I do wish you were a rock
So I could throw you out of the nearest window
Or throw you across the river Calder
Just as long as I can rid you of your constant nagging
And speaking of tools
You have the face of a spanner
Every time I look at you my nuts tighten
You laugh like an old hag
You are as blind as a bat
It must be like mother like daughter
And now if you wont be so full of spite
Will you please get out of my sight!
