Windows of Wonder (wow)

Looking an a planes window it remined me of the individual frames that were spun to create the illusion of movement in the first picture houses.

Windows of Wonder

Windows on planes
Old cinematic projections
Sequentially playing
Micro-slices of nature
Showing windows of wonder
Bolly and Hollywood small fry
Cloud layer, rolled out cotton wool
Snowfields punctuated by glaciers
Wisps of cloud skates on blue
Dancers perform on arenas ice
Mountains below, like ruffled sheets
Sun captured on waves, a chandelier
Engines roar, closing overture
Airport runway, the last spool in the can
Thunderous applause, audience goes wild
Another sequel all ready for production

Pete Crompton

interesting and original

also Phil, I thought about the individual aircraft windows in the fuselage, they are like the sprocket holes on 35 mm film, punched out, and if the aircraft rushes by slow enough all the faces at the windows would create an illusion

you injected an air of technical into the poem and being a techie I liked that!
