The first Write Out Loud night at the Gypsys Tent was a great success. Thanks to all the Regulars, Irregular and New Comer to WOL, but known by many, Gus Jonsson, for braving the awful weather to join us and share their poetry. We heard poems delivered in differing styles in our usual convivial atmosphere.Compére Gordon Zola was in excellent form,his extraordinary wit enhanced the evening. Late arrivals Julian, Gemma, Darren, Sean and Dave fresh from the Guturati Poetry Event contributed in their usual upbeat way. Thanks again to those who ventured forth and made our inaugural evening at the Gypsy’s Tent a success.. We moved due to the closure of the Howcroft Pub and believe me this is a much better venue. A quiet room above a pub, with excellent acoustic qualities. So come and join us this Sunday 16th November at the Gypsy’s Tent on White Lion Brow Bolton
