WOL BOLTON FEB 2011
I'll beat Val to it, this month but just a short note to say again how good the next WOL Bolton Night @ Butterflies was on the 13th Feb 2011.
There was 19 readers (and one cuddly toy) on stage and MCed by the superb Jeffarama again who persuaded me to guest MC also (Was only the third time I'd ever done that in 4 years) with around 33 or 34 in the audience.A very good night and it hasn't put me off ever doing it again (MCing that is).See you all March.

I thought you were a great MC. There was a good variety of poetry styles and some music. The atmosphere was really enjoyable with loads of talent. I look forward to the next one. Perhaps Linda and Dave as well next time, I hope so. There are now pretty much equal numbers of men and women and age ranges so its a night representative of lots of poetical experiences. The nearly dead poets looked pretty lively to me!

I agree with you there, Jane there.. Tony and Ged from Nearly Dead Poets were really good fun - there's three of them normally but Tony and Ged are great fun.
Thinking about it - it was pretty split between the boys and the girls nicely - be nice if we get that kind of split again in the future...
Hope to see you next month! x
