Short Stories Sought

Write Out Loud Events - This Month
Note: we are returning to the Howcroft Inn in Bolton this month and, in memory of Jeff Whitehead a much loved WOL poet who died recently, all monies collected at the Bolton event will go to Bolton Hospice.

3rd - 8pm Hole in the Wall, Hebden Bridge

15th - 8pm Howcroft Inn, Bolton
18th - 7.30pm Waterside Arts Centre, Sale

Brian Turner - US War Poet on Short UK Tour
Brian's poetry collection, Here, Bullet has recently been published in this country by Bloodaxe Press. Brian was a soldier for several years and spent a year as a Team leader with an infantry unit in Iraq. His collection is unique in its exploration of what life in the middle of such a conflict is like for both the ordinary soldier and civilians.

Tour dates include: 16th Portsmouth, 22nd Manchester, 25th Cambridge - see gig guide for full details.

Merseyside Polonia
