WriteOutZine
Although it’s probably been around for a while I discovered a new writer’s magazine called ‘Writers Forum’, which is a publication for new writers. Approximately half of the 26 articles were extremely useful to me as a new writer. Subject area’s as diverse as from workshops to book marketing/promotion and from Professional support (mentoring) to writing markets were included.
I know this does sound like a free commercial, but I felt it was something I ought to pass it on, so to speak. This got me thinking about the wealth of talent on this site and the various experiences writers have had when working with publishers, writing articles, setting up workshops, marketing etc.
This site is there for writers, amongst others, to share their work, using blogs, and to receive feedback from their peers. I feel that there may be a niche within this site for a forum for sharing experiences that may become useful advice/guidance for both new and more established writers.
What do you think? Would you contribute? Would you help run a ‘WriteOutZine’, for example?
This discussion point is purely a feasibility study if you will and not something that is being actively considered by WriteOutLoud.
