Readings from Kate Potts, Nick Parker and Nick Sweeney, who will be launching his marvellous new novel Laikonik Express.

Kate Potts' poems have appeared in various magazines including Ambit, Magma, Poetry Wales and The Wolf. Her first pamphlet Whichever Music (tall-lighthouse) was a Poetry Book Society Choice in 2008 and was shortlisted for a Michael Marks Award. 'Pure Hustle', her first book-length collection was published by Bloodaxe earlier this year.

Nick Parker is the author of Toast: Homage to a Superfood (Prion 2002). His stories have been broadcast on BBC Radio 4, and published on mcsweeneys.net and in Ambit magazine and appeared in the Tales of the Decongested (Apis Books, 2006) and Sea Stories (National Maritime Museum 2007) anthologies.

Nick Sweeney's debut novel, Laikonik Express is published by Unthank Books on 1 April 2011. He is also the guitarist with Balkan troubadours The Trans-Siberian March Band.
