Spotlight WORDS & MUSIC COLLABORATIONS Workshop
for writers & musicians (NB: This is not a songwriting workshop)
Do you enjoy creative writing, making music, both?
A chance to collaborate - experimenting with text and sound -
stretching the boundaries of music and using words with sound in atmospheric ways.
The workshop will focus on creating and developing short pieces - combining words and sound - producing a recording of
the work created.
Workshop participants will record their collaborative pieces and receive a CD of all the work produced.
Facilitators:
Ann Wilson
is a writer and performing poet based in South Cumbria. Her poetry collection Synesthetic is available at The Tinners' Rabbit Bookshop, Ulverston, Cumbria or direct from Ann at gigs.

Shaun Blezzard
is a community-based audio/visual artist who lives on Barrow Island in Cumbria. He has worked as an artist, musician, producer, composer and workshop leader for the Sonic Arts Network & Welfare State International. He is also an experienced live sound technician and sound recordist and runs Earth Monkey Productions.
