I like to write. My poems have a Dr. Seuss cadence and are made up of fairly simple rhymes conveying a deeper message.

Encouragement is priceless, Do you understand? The words...they are not useless, They lend a helping hand. When your self speak is too harsh, And you can not find the light. When your faith in you is sparse, Do you want to know what’s right? You’re valuable, You’re you. Value is not just what you do. You’re value inherent. When negativity runs errant, Remember this truth, Even past your youth. You’re priceless bc You’re you. Your value is not what you do. Now that this matters settled, Show up and take in air. Choose a joyous life, No life that’s lived is fair. Do more than just survive, Pick up yourself and thrive!
