Biography

I've always loved writing poetry. Always as a stress relief though. As a way to help me sift through emotions, turmoil, major life events. I find inspiration everywhere. My poems are always at least loosely based on my life, but not always completely. I've never published or done performances and have only recently started sharing my works. I'm a single mom of a 3 year old who is my world. I finally gained the courage to leave an abusive relationship and am joining the dating world after a long absence..... Needless to say I write a lot these days. While I figure everything out. I like to spend my free time going to the beach. As often as possible. The water always makes me feel at peace no matter what.

Samples

Just one sample: "Knight In Shining Armor" Oh you knight In shining armor Promise you won't harm her She's fragile She's a bit of a hassle And a fighter But if you try, her heart will get lighter The walls will crumble and fall And she'll stand proud and tall Just promise you will catch her Her hearts beating faster She's remembering the lies All the tries All the plights She doesn't want to cry She doesn't want to flee But can she trust thee? Oh, you knight in shining armor Don't step forward if you have no honor She's ready and willing But you have to offer more than a shilling You have to provide peace, comfort, honest love She might need a bit of a shove But its worth it A bit of work and it can be perfect Oh you knight in shining armor Whatever you do, please don't harm her.
