Just Another Day
Unmotivated Never ready For the day To come Anxious and Unsettled Scared to even Get myself up Another tear Is shed as the Stress sets in It doesn't help I'm so sick My mind is spinning Lonely and Forgotten Missing in action But no one knows I'm still breaking apart Piece by piece Not better But worse Put on a happy Face And just be Let it consume You Turn off all Feelings and Emotions That's the only way It ever stops Lose yourself Wake up Fill responsibilities Sleep Repeat For the rest of Your life Until you just Can’t anymore
The Cold
It’s late once more And the cold is creeping In slowly Threatening to overtake What I’ve just barely rebuilt My mind is spinning Nothing offers help Not the blankets Nor the heater The reason being This type of cold Comes from within And consumes you Taking control of your body Until you can’t move Paralyzed with the fear The cold The neverending terror That is always awaiting In the dark Just beyond my point Of vision Creeping under my bed Or in the closet The cold that will never leave It’s time again Please someone Help me But the cold devourers Another meal As I slip into another Night of Reliving old memories
