Samples THE TRAMP

What say you o man of the street Where lies your heart, What rhythm it beats The shadowy figure replied with an air I know not why I feel this despair,Then gave a long stare Following my dreams, My punishment to meet Reluctantly I’m here on this old black seat His eyes were grey, His vision had gone His gums were empty,Where his teeth belonged He sat for a while then gave a long stare No misgivings,He hadn’t a care Head hanging heavy on the old black seat A future untold,in the path of his feet.
