Biography

Atri Kundu hails from a suburban locale in India and writes short fiction, nonfiction articles, poetry, and essays. Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Atri is a regular contributor to his college's literary magazines and a number of local magazines published in his native language. As a member of the Press Club of Kolkata, he has travelled widely to cover news stories and these experiences have enriched his mind as an author. Atri is a survivor of the demon called depression and is intimately familiar with this battle for survival. He believes that stories like his are not taboo but deserve to be told and heard. His own life and the way he contemplates the lives around him serve the real sources to his poetry, which are already a sensation on Instagram. Atri Kundu is mostly applauded for being a writer whose words leave an impact. His imageries and metaphors will linger in your mind long after you have turned over the last page. As I Tread On is his debut poetry collection and currently, he is busy in his final year of University and in crafting his debut crime-thriller novel, Killer Victim Bond: Mimicry
