Biography

I am a Southwest poet and artist. I perform at Stanza Extravaganza, Poetry Island, Big Poetry and Word Cafe. I was highly commended in the national Torbay Poetry Festival competition. I am a published poet. I am an artist. I have exhibited in Devon and I was shortlisted for the RA Summer Exhibition 2017. I have curated three exhibitions including How Poetry Made a Human; showcasing the work of poets alongside their childhood poems

The pram in the hall Cyril placed an enemy in my hall. I think the baby rather sweet. Cyril says she is an enemy of the state. A sly interloper, distractor and fascinator placed there to make sure bad art is the common denominator amongst the artists with kids. I think the baby rather sweet. My inclination is to climb in beside her and sleep her dreams, excavate a little seam of creativity from her wise soul to my mine. Shrink time to it’s smallest part, hang the nugget above the entrance to the hall, a radiating motivator that gently bangs against Cyril’s head whenever he comes to call.
