darkness and light a constant battle life's never ending fight this darkness creeps upon you feeds upon the negative same as the light feeds upon the positive wishful thinking doesn't destroy this cancer not everyone has the same answer simply forgetting does not heal one must notice learn and heal in time all things negative can be turned to positive shine light onto the dark and behold the fires spark Pride and motivation born from the ashes like a Phoenix can not get this outcome without both there is no growth without pain there is no light without dark everything in life has a yin and yang so do not be afraid of the change do not be afraid of the dark for darkness does not stay dark forever embrace it learn from it then flip the switch on goes the lantern of Hope fueled by positive aspects of your mind then watch as the light outshines the dark realize that everything will be fine for life is not in the hands of the dark nor that hands of the light life is in the hands of mine and yours for we control the choice and we control our voice so turn the lantern on and let it shine

Hello Brian,
I have read most of the poems you have submitted to this site and some over again. You are very talented indeed and I think you need to know it. Your writing skills, ability to express yourself and the style with which you write has a unique quality. Please write more and more. I have enjoyed and in some cases learned something from your words. Thanks. Keith
