The Mirror I look in the mirror but what do I see? A troubled girl with a crippling past Who is happy with her life now, But not her experiences. As I look in the mirror I feel the blood rushing to my face, I did nothing wrong But yet I bleed. Looking back at me in the mirror Is the little girl who was abused and neglected, I can hear her crying, But yet there is no sound. I stand there amazed at the woman That little girl has become, So frail and damaged Yet beautiful beyond her scars.

'The Mirror' is a fine poem, clear, well worded, and universal in appeal. I'll try to catch up.

Lovely photo.

Your sample kicks ass. Very revealing and experience driven, which I know could be hard to post publicly. Keep it up. I look forward to reading more ?
