When he found me, I was so small. Curled up against the walls, hiding in corner of a house -not a home- that I had build against myself. But he took me. Plucked me up by my bones and planted me back into sunshine. He nestled my roots into fresh soil where he had laid his own ground. Together we grew flowers between my bricks and I bloomed where he helped me grow.
