the wind spoke into our faces with ferocity icy whispers rosied our cheeks little paws followed us down the white carpet their voices echoed from within the trees scarlet ran down the path we chased her round the wild reeds she was swift and silent she wore us down and beat us to our feat at last we found her laughing in a puddle of her guilt with fur in between her teeth
