Biography
Lyrical artist Dame K produces work that is raw, hard-hitting, inspiring and at times finny. She has been a featured poet for Apples and Snakes. Other performances include the Farrago slam (winner), Lyrical Lift festival, Brockley Max Festival, Conscientious Objectors day, Anna Scher peace pebbles Tavistock square, Last days of Decadence with Sistova productions and Theatro Technics. Dame K won the original poetry competition at LAMDA two years consecutively, 2007 with ‘Him and Me’, 2008 with ‘Klink Klank Echoes’. This was then made into a film, and stageplay that had a reading at The Tristan Bates Theatre, part of Rikki Beadle-Blair’s Louder than word festival directed by Hannah Eidinow, starring Anthony Welsh, Gary Carr, Eloise Joseph & Kathryn. “I was swept up - in it's rhythm, it's swagger, it's natural flow.
