David Keyworth

Biography

Debut pamphlet The Twilight Shift published by Wild Pressed Books. I was born in West Bromwich but grew up in North Lincolnshire. My poetry has been published in The SHOp, Smiths Knoll, Orbis and elsewhere. In 2012 I won the poetry category in Salford University’s WriteNorthWest competition. In 2013 I won a new poet’s bursary in the Northern Writing Awards. My first published poem was on a beer mat. I was included in the Templar anthology ‘Skein’. My poem The Twilight Shift was published in the anthology Poems for Grenfell Tower (Onslaught Press, 2018).
