Biography

I have lived in Liverpool (UK) for the past 10 years and I am involved with The Spider Project and Wirral Ode Show. I have had my work published in a few magazines most recently: Content (The Spider Project); a Different Kind Of Rocking (North End Writers); The Nerve (Liverpool) and 10X3Plus (USA). I run a blog dedicated to poetical issues, called Talking Verse. I would say that my favourite poets (and inspirers) are from the USA and I have a strong interest in Japanese court poetry. The poem I have submitted is based on traditional Japanese form and is part of a series, though each poem stands on its own.

Samples

Culture Wars I notice that all the pop that they play is heavy on bass, and sounds the same - the way that reggae always inflicts itself when your ear is to the pillow and a wall or a ceiling muffles much of what could make the tune appealing. So it is noise. And when I play Elliot Carter, or Stephen Pratt as loud as I need it, does it sound like uninteresting noise to them?
