Dessy Tsvetkova

Biography

My name is Dessy Tsvetkova, born in Sofia, Bulgaria. I have that passion of writing since childhood, and poems and short stories of mine had been published in a few magazines in Bulgaria, and recently in web magazines in Belgium, Romania, USA, UK, Peru, India, Philippines. My inspiration comes from the sea, nature and human relations. I love to travel and to make photos, visited almost all of European countries. These trips influenced me as well. I have 4 books with poetry in Bulgarian, 1 book of poems written in English and I have compiled an anthology River of words - Bulgarian pearls, where participating as writer and translator, in English. Happy to share with you some pieces of my writings.

On the top

On the top of the world could be lonely, could be terribly cold but the legend says if you manage to climb you may probably touch the sun, you may probably see the shadow of God *** In the light of falling star dragon fly shines in blue. The deep blue is spring of the past, spring of new call of the blue universe. *** In the moment of thunder feelings we all need to share, we all need to exchange, we give our shadows, we give our sunsets, we open the doors to experience, we search for the fine pieces to show, we give our little steps, to those who want to continue. *** Thirst for life She seemed to take a breath there in the smog of the city rumble. The little flower though thr grey concrete, in the muddy ditch, in spite of the darkness, she was dissolving beautiful fingers.
