Poetry Delightful death! By Eden Fazel www.edengalaxy.com Inspired by Mary Oliver’s poem When its over I want to believe that all my life, I was a bride married to delight of amazement, I was the groom carrying joy in my arms, dancing to life, When its over, I want to look back and see that I was always full of emotion of wonder, That I passed through dark valleys of pain and sorrow, Also climbed to summits of joy and laughter, When I take my last breath, I want to inhale all mans miseries, take it along with my ash and dust, And when I exhale my last breath, I will be free from all musts, When it is all over, I don’t want to want, need or desire, When it s all over, Want nobody gather or admire, When it s over, Id like to fly back to Eden , Bring peace and harmony to Adam and Eve, God and Satan, Abel and Cain, And see all dread and hostility forbidden, When its over, Nobody should come over, Space, stars, light and heavenly sky, all universe become my Empire, When it s all over, What else do I want? When my flesh will melt into the body of earth, Turn to grass, give flowers new birth, When its over, I want no sigh, and no murmur, No sad songs, no big jargon, nothing much too tender, No tristesse, no anger, even slightest whisper, When its all over, My ash will go all over, To deserts forests and farther, Without any unique order, When it s over, I’d like to surrender, Become part of the body of the worm, hungry wolves and that fast flowing river, When it s over, I want my flesh to be tenderly caressed by the mother earth, After all this is only a new birth, Becoming part of the sky, dissolving into the planet earth, Growing into stems of mint, mango trees and clover, Blossoming in the magic of a lovely Jasmine flower, Part of flow of every winter and summer, When it s over, Throw my ash carelessly in to a bright stream of water, Want to be fed to throat of a wild tiger, Will run fast within the swift flesh of chita and panther, Will help thirsty deer flee from bullets of the ruthless hunter, When its over, Don’t lament sad and tender, You don’t need to worry at all, Because after all, Probably it s not all over! Journey through the galaxy By Eden Fazel www.edengalaxy.com It is a huge galaxy, Billions of stars, Billions of planets, going round and round, Floating in submission, In unity and one mission, And I hear a little man saying: I am right and otherwise, you belong to the axis of evil! It is a huge galaxy, Billions of star singing melody, Radiating in harmony stark, Shooting stars, swim through this universe like a massive hungry shark, Shooting light in to the dark, Leaving no trace, no sign, no mark, And I hear a little man hanging his boxing gloves saying: I am the strongest man on this planet! It is an amazing galaxy, Billion stars shine with humility, Planets pregnant of light with mind blowing fertility, Merge in one flow, singing peace and harmony with no trace of rigidity, And I hear a little girl singing: Don’t you want a girlfriend hot like me? Don’t you?! It is a long galaxy, Billion stars shining energy, Planets stand in awe and trance observing this synergy, Dancing in unity hand in hand, orbit in orbit, needing no clergy, And I heard a little man saying with charisma, machismo and energy: I the deputy of God; worship me and my progeny, It is an evolving galaxy, Billions of stars, turning around one another, This amazing glaze makes my eyes wonder, And I hear a little man saying: I have bought a huge car, My car is bigger than you car! It is a giant moving galaxy, Billions of stars sell golden light for free, And I hear that little woman selling matrimony: You should buy me a villa, a fantasy car, diamonds, crystal and jewelry, In return, you rent a couple of wet cubic inches inside my belly! It is a long and stretched galaxy, Stars and planets dancing all nude, totally free, And I see a little man wrapping his woman’s head in a thick scarf like a blanket saying: This woman is only for me! It is a light and bright galaxy, Dimensions and size massive, long and thick, Distances measured with the pace of lights speed, awesome magic, And I hear that little girl saying: What matters is the size of my boyfriend’s dick! It is a broad and wide galaxy, I have no interest in any fallacy, Billions of stars in joy and fantasy, Planets drinking light with ecstasy, And I hear a little man saying: Follow me and I take you to heaven, I look up into the sky; I see stars and one heaven, I look left and right to the horizon and see only stars and one heaven, I pierce through the earth to the other side and I find myself in heaven, I don’t follow any guru, and stop seeing ME and I realise: That I have always been in heaven! When the macho matador humiliates a bull, the mankind and the essence of humanity, When the whole arena screams: Holay! I burst of anger to tears, When man colors a piece of rag, Call it flag! And kills for sake of that dirty rag I burst of anger to tears, When we draw borders, Impose unnecessary orders, When we draw a line through the wilderness, Hence, alienate our neighbours, I burst of anger to tears When I see that shallow man singing peace songs for Palestine, Later, I see him, in Hyde Park hitting his dog viciously, in clandestine, I burst of anger to tears, When I declare interest in a lovely woman, overwhelmed with emotion of wonder being an ordinary simple man, She looks at me totally shocked, and says: You are talented and handsome, Why are you interested in me? Because she was induced to believe: That she lacks a shred of feminine beauty, I spit on my face in the mirror, totally convinced, that beauty is a curse to humanity, I burst of anger to tears, When my romantic friend Henry, Gets excluded from the circle of love by girls too swiftly, Because of his romantic bald head, so quickly! I burst of anger to tears, When a woman sells her soul to money, Becomes a partner to this historical tyranny, Indulges in the deadliest of the seven, gluttony I burst of anger to tears, When that white man with his huge clumsy hands, Touches the innocence of little Thai boys, flashing his money, Greeted well by the officer in the Heathrow, Showing his EU passport, welcome back home honey! I burst of anger to tears, When women are forced to behave like men by the society, Reciting feminist slogans, thinking they are free, While they have again unknowingly, Submitted to macho male superiority, I burst of anger to tears, My throat engorges with pain, My neck veins bulge tight but not in vain, Bitterness kicks my delight insane, And my heart gallops wilder than the wildest of the wild, to let my bitterness drain! Journey with the wind By Eden Fazel www.edengalaxy.com It is a splendid sunny day, And I am feeling giddy again, After lots of pain and sorrow, Life treats me gently today and morrow, And this wild amazing breeze, Whispers that she wishes to cleanse, My life of every twist and tease, Even wants to bring laughter to geese, Oh, this breeze is pregnant of every news, Passed through lots of dear places, between, Muslims, Christians and Jews, Through snow and rocks, Throat of the sparrow, who talks, Lashed through by tails of gallopers of the wild, And the sweet laughter of every child, Combed through wings of high flying eagles, Cut through wooden sword of that little boy who giggles, And through ashes of heartbroken prince, the Nepalese, Through smoke and fire of starving homeless, eating crap rotten cheese, And the honey soaked fur of the fat bear, And the shabby hair of mothers who don’t care, And the wobbling bosoms of the neighbour girl, Without her permission! And under the black tight scarf of the Muslim woman down the road, So tight that it strangles her lovely smiles, her husband's goad, This breeze tickles her as well, even without her husband's permission! A prisoner beaten and bruised released out of jail wrote this prayer: My dear amazing Lord, my unique one and only father, you the glory of the heaven and earth, you the dearness of my heart, you the kindest and most compassionate, you the definition of the word compassion, you every single letter of the word love. I don’t know, I don’t know, yet I don’t know how you called me, I don’t know how and why you chose me, full of guilt, my garment stained with many sins. Though I don’t even want to know and am delighted that you chose me to be your friend- you my amazing delight. Whatever the reason I worship you my dearest, number of words, number of stars, and number of miracles that you performed specially for me. I worship you most gratefully and my heart overflows as your kindness flows in my neck veins and my good deeds no matter how small cherish your beautiful eyelashes. And you - you dearest amazing incomprehensible thing, you the one and only creator who make my knees bend cheerfully anytime to his glory sent me your angels: Those who warmed my shoulders, healed my back and licked my wounds. Those who congratulated me for my goodness and faith. Those who rebuked me for my errors, so I don’t fall again to break my bones and make the wicked happy. Those amazing ones who opened their wings around me to protect me from all kinds of hardship.
