Biography
Eleanor Holmes (previously published as Eliot North) lives in Valencian Country, Spain. She works as a doctor, medical educator, and is mother to five-year-old Idris. Her writing has featured in literary magazines including: Structo, Acumen, Black Bough Poetry, and Ink Sweat & Tears. She was commended in the National Poetry Competition 2014 with her poem 'The Crab Man' which was also made into a Film Poem. Her poem 'yolk', was nominated for the 2020 Pushcart Prize by Black Bough Poetry. The short story 'This Skin Doesn’t Fit Me Any More', was selected for the ‘Best British Short Stories 2017’ by Salt Publishing and she was featured in 'iambapoet.com' in 2021.
