Biography

I have been writing and reading since the age of 4- I’ve always loved any element of reading and writing and shown an aptitude for language . I am a linguist by trade and I have also completed my TESOL Certificate.I am currently working as a Preschool Assistant teacher while applying for ESL/EFL Teaching positions. I plan to go back to school in order to become a Speech Language Pathology Assistant , working in marketing and also attempting to create a blog/ podcast for people to openly discuss their work on an unbiased forum! Looking forward to network and meeting some talented people !

You asked me what emotional instability is like Take a look at the right side of my stomach and my wrists You cannot wash this pain away with a kiss That will tell you everything you need to know These scars are not here for show Let me tell you something you don’t know This is my life, my reality His abuse will forever remain a part of me The heart is bleeding open, as if cut with a knife If I only knew how, how to save my mothers’ life To bring her up and tell her to just breathe Mental illness isn’t a person she can leave It dwells inside of her chest, her mind, her heart, and soul She has lived with the burden for her entire life Listen to the emptiness Do not fall into the hole My insecurities are signs of distress, stress Take a walk in my shoes I win big and ultimately lose My self-confidence is so low I have no one to turn to, nowhere to go My life is filled with depression, heartache, heartbreak and regret My name is Erin, have we met?
