Biography

Grew up in Las Vegas. Worked with my hands most of my life. But now I am retired. Have been for 8 years. Found writing poetry was the itch I needed to scratch. Has been there all of my life. My friends awakened me to realize that I had talent. So they all can't be wrong all of the time. Anyway I do enjoy it, but find myself in the dark corners, dealing with injustice, to often. I'm sure I'm not alone. G-mand

Penny Sense My life, written paper, on this page Like ink in this pen How far will it go , when will it end The disposable kind, I've woke to find How it is done, but never said When you have reached the age you are more valuable dead Is my reality, never spoken, but shown by the system of today More and more is taken away Can someone give me a hug to cheer up day Can you hear the blind slaves Say have a nice day, in their programmed way Send you out the door, to find a place to stay Shelter from the storm, the song of the poor The volume gets louder, and I care gets clouded into despair And the forecast for the rich,it's sunny everywhere How they sepperrate the masses, divide them into classes and weaken the links That share the power in numbers, of what is just all think Has cost them their freedom, by what they speak How it is done but never said And freedom keeps dancing inside the prisoner's head Like there are dollars for few, and pennies for many Reveals in our fields, to yield, hardly any Truth is free, and sooner or later you see How money buys time, to pay for the lies What the selfish are growing, ends up showing How it is done but never said The way truth follows the lies, on how the money is spent
