The Mystery of the Ocean The calm slosh of the ocean, Her bluish-green hands reaching farther and farther to shore, Taunting me, calling me into her outstretched arms. She kept many secrets, Burried deep within her vast stomach, Only some have scratched the surface. She’s the mother of all life within her boundaries, Her children feeding on her supply of mystery And storing it within themselves. Lost forever, The blissful ignorance takes its place, Leaving us with the assumption of her true beauty.
