Biography
Hi. I'm Jen. I've been writing poetry forever. I thought it was just something I did when I needed my feelings to exist outside of me. But, last year I discovered spoken-word poetry and for the first time I understood that, more than I need to get my thoughts out, I need to connect with people. I need to recognise myself in others and for them to recognise themselves in me.
