I Wish

I wish I would've been able to make him proud I wish I could give him one more hug if I was allowed I wish that I could hug him a little harder than the last I wish I could erase our hardships and past I wish I could say "I love you" one more time I wish heaven had a latter that I could climb I wish my dad could watch me graduate from school I wish I was nicer with my words and a bit less cruel I wish my dad was still here, but I have to say that he's gone I wish that when god took him, I could've came along I wish that I'd seen it all sooner, but I know that I can't His love was a seed and my heart was his plant I will never forget you for as long as I live My wishes can't be granted, but I just hope he can forgive
