Biography

Goth with a midnight pen.... Born and raised in beautful South Africa, Kathryn has been writing poetry since a child. "Poetry writing calms and soothes me, it is therapy."

Insomnia

The Insomnia That Plagues Kept awake in the darkness, under a heavy starless sky As I lie here restless, a prisoner of the in between. Tempestuous Hell beneath me, tender Heaven afloat up high How can you exhume a soul, especially one unseen? Raging emotions consume me, like an insatiable fire, Yet I again fade to the light, howling at an invisible Moon. Night brings this haunted obsession, see you again tomorrow after noon… KATHRYN NAIDOO
