Biography

A human being of questionable merit.

Samples

River Walk Looking at reflections in the rivers I go by, I do not see myself Just the buildings I pass by; The red-bricked and the yellow-stoned, Back-dropped by fading reddened sky. The stillness of the water breathes a stillness into me. It sells another world of fiction laid out for me to seize. I continue on the tarmac, locking eyes with mirrored fleas But then, the stillness breaks, and this bliss is unreleased; Quick step walkers, Stop-start joggers Guilded in hi-vis capes, Aggressive flashing glows of white bike lights Upend my measured pace, And now the moment's taken, Twisted back into reality, I continue walking, Another world's behind.

Hello Louise, love your bio, "'A human being of questionable merit." Brilliant! There's a poem in that title if ever I heard one.

Great sample, really captures the moment. Favourite line: "Backdropped by a fading reddened sky." Really like your writing style so please be sure to write some more.

Thanks,

J.
