Amateur writer, dabbling mostly in poetry and fiction. Contributor to the Savage Magazine and creator of poetry blog, Parliament of Owls, at https://parliamentofowlsblog.wordpress.com. Based in London and spectacularly bad at making money out of writing.

stay good night to the city of dreams the silks are tearing at the seams a trail of unfinished children on their way the marble spires are beginning to decay the metropolis fading like a vision the faces disappearing behind gaping lesions and drifting away with the things we used to say and the smiling muse who would never stay

I've read everything, too quickly admittedly. I don't believe you should be referring to yourself as an amateur and I get a sneaky suspicion you know that too
