Biography
writing has always been my best form of personal expression. i've only recently realized that what i write could be considered poetry. i've been completely confused by it. sometimes i don't even know what it means, but it is an emotional and creative release. i love that poetry laughs at the rules of grammar and allows the writer to be an artist and a human rather than just an informer. most of my professional work involves technical writing. so poetry is a breath of fresh air. my favorite poets are maya angelou and e.e. cummings. the reason i joined wol was because i wanted to connect with others. to find other people who I get and who get me. this is my first time venturing out to share any of my writing, and i'm quite terrified. but i know i would regret it if i didn't. and i don't like regrets. so, here it goes!
