Biography

I'm an optimist, a dreamer, an enthusiast, a music lover and a poet. I pen down my emotions and thoughts over a paper. Basically, I write for my own self and when people get connected to it I feel accomplished. I'm not a veteran poet but it is my belief that I have to go a long way. Writing poems is totally different from my background, as I'm a postgraduate in biotechnology. But, writing has become an essential part of me and therefore, I take out time to write something or the other, basically in poetic form. Not everyone can impel their emotions on paper, therefore I feel I'm lucky enough to do so, even if not that greatly. Secondly, I'm too much involved in music and have always participated in competitions since childhood. These are my biggest assets.

MY TALK TO THE SHORE I moved away from the shore Like a body is left without a soul Once I loved to be yours, shore But I'm scared of the tides.... Can't they be low? Sometimes I felt I know all about you, shore But it was my mistaken thought, and I was at a fallacy door! I wanted to come near you, shore But I couldn't reach you.... Those sinuous, berserk tides....all ended my lure! I cried on losing the clairvoyance Then a sudden calmness lowered that noise. At times,I felt loathed.... But compassion I possess more.... So tell me,should I move away from you shore?? -Mampi Debnath
