I’m writing this poem bc I need to face myself Am I sad that I do not swim in wealth Do I envy the things I don’t have What am I searching for ? What more could I ask for ? I should take the time to love me Appreciate me Cause I am beautiful without anyone to tell me so I am a warrior and I’ve been one in all the growth I’ve done many things that others will never do You’re not better than me , I’m not better than you I’m on this path but I’m living it in fear I shed a tear but their tough tears my dear
