Just When I Thought

I thought I shouldn't have, I should take steps back and leave, But you've seen me, Just when I thought I was going, Your approaching me, Your face is how I remember it, Your stand before me, And just when I thought we were done, We are here standing here, Do you want to kiss me? Do you even miss me? Are you about to cry tears, Baby, Just when I thought I was over you, I came here to see you what have I done? Should I stay and face you? Or maybe I should run, Your voice is sort and soothing, Just when I thought I was over you, Your talking to me, Telling me your not over me, Just when I thought, I shouldn't have fought, You taught me, Your words keep me, Your arms reach out to reach me and I enter into an embrace, Just when I thought, I shouldn't have, Because your here, I am here, we are together.

Who You Are

It doesn't depend on your opinion of them to figure out who you are, Yes, you are your scars, Yes, you are the times you failed, No, it doesn't define you, It doesn't depend on others pointing our your past mistakes to figure out who you are now, Because maybe you were fake back then, Maybe you'd like to take back what you did then, But who are you now? What are you becoming? Think you can do it, Tell yourself you'll get through it, Apologise for your failings, Because you are not a failure now, And this is who you are, Better than who you were.
